Re: Setting cookies (EU cookie laws)

Hi, I think that there are no txp cookies anywhere except the back end.

Re: Setting cookies (EU cookie laws)

But when I choose to “remember the user password” isn’t that a TXP cookie?

BTW, i found that interesting jQuery plugin for EU Cookie Legislation and i’ve discovered that for any level dependant <script type=“text/javascript”> tag I need to change it’s type to text/plain (instead of text/javascript) and adding a cookieconsent-level attribute to it.

Too much for me :( I’ve contacted a TXP guru to get the things done…

But I’m the only with this problem? Have you already updated all your websites?

Re: Setting cookies (EU cookie laws)

Yes the login is the only one with cookies and as you are the only one using it, there is no issue with the law as you consent by going to it and entering your credentials. The law speaks about random visitors and not consenting admins of sites.

Re: Setting cookies (EU cookie laws)

I’ve already found another solution but I’ll give a try: I prefer plugins to add code snippets into the page.
Many thanks, Nicolas!
