IE8 misbehaviour

Website http://www.mindfulnessbergamo.net works fine with all desktop and mobile browsers except IE8 (and below). Here is a screenshot of IE8 misbehaviour on a Windows XP machine: http://take.ms/hVbIl

For the section menu I am using adi_menu plugin.

Any hint on where to look at in order to fix it?

Your website is HTML5. IE8 and below isn’t able to make use of specific HTML5 tags like nav and footer. You have to integrate some JS translator like html5shiv to make HTML5 understandable for older IEs.

And IE8 doesn’t work with media queries.

Yup, I was just researching where to find the default page, gilibaus must have removed that section from Phil’s template. Look for html5shiv and css3-mediaqueries there.

html5shiv and css3-mediaqueries did the trick.
@michaelkpate yes, some people still use IE8 (sigh!)
