It looks like there’s an issue with FluxBB which causes it to omit notifications for any user who has their language set to an inexistent language.

Unfortunately I am not receiving notifications from topics I am subscribed.

I’m having the same problem (again) too. It just stopped working sometime in the last few days. I didn’t notice exactly when, but I’ve since observed that it is a problem (no notifications) and nothing goes to junk/spam.
If I don’t use RSS (which can be overused if on every thread), I don’t get notified.
