Prosemirror
Greetings old Textpattern friends.
I looked around to see if anyone was talking about prose mirror already but it doesn’t seem like it. This project seems like somwthing his community would like so sorry for the spam.
Imagine a WYSIWYG that could actually save Textile.
Marijn Haverbeke the author of code mirror is working in just such a beast. If you haven’t checked it out it is worth your time. Currently it only supports Markdown but it is being built with extensibility in mind.
Anyway he is trying to bootstrap the development and if funding is reached he will make it Open Source, kind of like the old code ransoms we used to do.
Check it out, see if it’s something you would like to see become a reality.
