Spammers creeping into computer address book

I don’t know how these folks managed it: Today I found two addresses in my Mac’s Address book that were clearly spam and were not entered by me. I’d advice you to have a look at your own address book and throw out what might not belong there.

Why I’m warning you:

Addresses contained in your address book (at least on a Mac) are by default not sorted into spam/advertising mail boxes. Having passed that security filter, mails will certainly look more trustable to you, provided they don’t forfeit that trust by advertising girl acquaintences or pharmaceuticals. But they probably won’t and might come along as a serious business firm, maybe even one that you’re a customer of, and make you click a link. Javascript hijacking on their trustable camouflaged website, password theft, etc., you know what I’m talking about.

Happy address book delousing :)

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links
