Coda theme under Textpattern 4.5.7
I’ve got a client who purchased and used the ProText Themes’ Coda theme for a site and wants to use it again, but I’m running into errors installing it under Textpattern 4.5.7. It appears that Stuart is offline at this point, so I don’t expect any support from him.
Before I start trying to progressively downgrade Textpattern to a version that will let me import it, I want to put the error messages out there as I expect there were some changes in more recent versions of Textpattern that I’m not familiar with that are causing this.
First, I get the following message in a pop-up:
Internal error “Unknown column ‘is_default’ in ‘fieldlist’”.And, second, I get the following in the installation summary:
I’m sorry. I’m afraid I can’t do that; ‘cxc_templates’ ‘import’ is an unsafe operation.Googling resulted in a few threads regarding this get_off_my_lawn
error message. I expect I’ll have to dig into the source code and do a lot of debugging to find the cause of this and work around it, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

The first error is, I think, related to cxc_templates
, which has a knock-on with the second error appearing.
Try hcg_templates
instead – pretty sure that doesn’t have the same problem, and will save you tooling around with downgrading.

Or use Stephan Hochhaus’ cxc_templates version for TXP 4.5.

And the TXP 4.5-compatible version of cxc_templates, after modifying it’s base_dir
to ‘_templates’ worked perfectly. Thanks again!
