Ugh, the skinny white typeface rendering on dark background in Mac/Safari is awful.

Understatement of the day! The rendering in Firefox (happened to have it open for once) is not much better, though. Sigh, google fonts.

Is that another of those services with super-guay™ patented development tech like the other threat? Looking at their own website, I’m not impressed though, slow and energy draining (and I haven’t looked at their TOS).
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

I guess that’s a web designer ignoring that the world hasn’t caught up with his/her retina standard.
Edit: Not that I have one :)

The text is indeed skinny butt ugly. but what is going on behind the scenes of this app. Can it really do all that it is claiming it can?? Is it smoke and mirrors. ??

That’s pretty neat, I enjoyed the video.
As far as the outcome goes: Same old story. You build with it until it no longer does things your way. Then if you’re comfortable with HTML/CSS/JS, you grab the source and move it to a better-suited platform. If you’re not comfortable with HTML/CSS/JS, you show the link to a professional and ask for an estimate.
The professional will take a look at all the hacks in there and tell you that they’d be happy to integrate it all with the new platform you’ve requested and inform you that due to UI complexity the cost of integration will now be 5-10x what you had in mind.
Overall I predict that a lot of designers will be excited to test whether they can use this as a prototyping tool and then grab the source and migrate. They’ll be especially excited to try exactly what the guy in the video did with the Apple site. And they’ll find that they still need to know JS in order to incorporate their clients’ revisions.
