Textpattern release archive
Most All Textpattern CMS releases as archives and uncompressed/expanded files:
github.com/textpattern-community/textpattern-releases
Does anyone have a .tar.gz copy of v4.5.3 stashed away that they could share with me? I know there was a packing issue and it was subsequently removed from the Textpattern download page, but it’d be good to have a reference copy.

Thanks for doing this. It’s sometimes useful to be able to look at when something was introduced in TXP.

Yeah, this. I’ve got clients running ooooold versions – including 1 with the fabled version 4.5.3 – that either won’t or cannot upgrade at this time. Frustrating.
I hope this is something that’s useful in some capacity; it’s not intended to be a replacement for the official download page, just a quick repo project that I finally got around to this morning.

Have located a .zip of v4.5.3 – does anyone have a .tar.gz of it?

You got mail with a list of available files from .com to compare against your current list. Looks like you got most of them.
No 4.5.3 though, it’s been removed.

Brutal useful wget one-liner to pillage download the (visible) Textpattern files list:
wget --content-disposition http://example.com/file_download/{1..999}Where 999 is the upper limit of the file ID you want to obtain.
