Kill off txp:rsd tag?
Does the <txp:rsd /> tag have any value or should be deprecated and marked for removal? It’s for an unsuccessful spec proposal that no one uses as far as I can ascertain.

I don’t even know what Really Simple Discovery brings to the table, so can’t say I’d miss the tag.

It was supposed to make things easier for novice users to setup a third-party blogging client to use XML-RPC so it was never absolutely necessary because all you have to do is go to Configure XML-RPC and enter the information manually – which I think I might have done once just to try it out.
Personally, I never liked the control you lose with a client and I don’t think any of them ever caught on much.

Phil, can you please do your magic with the default template and remove references to <txp:rsd>? I believe you have it all synced and set up for easier deployment when you make changes, so I don’t wanna tread on that by altering txpsql.php my side. Ta.

Should be marked in the wiki, too. I just had txp:rsd come up as an error in txp 4.6.1 debug mode…
