Second popup > Invalid filename

Re: I can't upload images ... getting errors ... !?
The first error can probably be fixed by switching to a more recent (less ancient) PHP version.

See PHP: unsupported branches
I know TXP requires 5.2.3 and above, but for security reasons it’s not recommended to use an unsupported PHP version.
You could disable safe-mode in PHP if you are allowed to change things like that on the server you’re using.

Thanks Ruud … somewhere hidden in the admin it was possible to disable safe-mode … everything is working as it should … :)
But … does it make the server (site) more vunrable?

If you use parts/functions of PHP that are vulnerable that could be a problem.

BTW … the errors are gone but I still can’t change the permissions of some folders. You’re right Ruud, the 5.3.2 version of PHP is “ancient”.

Interesting.
Should there be a caveat in the Textpattern sys reqs to say that the underlying libraries (PHP, MySQL, httpd) should still be vendor-supported?
