Re: Christmas fund for Textpattern developers: 2014

Thank you to everyone who donated this year – we managed to raise a record amount of US$1,800 for the Textpattern developers.

After deducting the PayPal fees and rounding out the total, each of the 4 developers – Stef Dawson, Jukka Svahn, Phil Wareham and Robert Wetzlmayr – received US$427.50 each.

Thank you Textpattern community and have a great New Year!

Re: Christmas fund for Textpattern developers: 2014

Wow, thank you very much everybody. Totally awesome. I’m conscious that I’ve been promising to show everyone unlimited custom fields for, like, ever now. Whenever I get half hour spare I’ve been refactoring what was done back in, umm, June into something that is sustainable, fast, yet lightweight. It’s just that spare half hours are few and far between at the moment due to various other commitments :-(

But hey, I passed 6000 posts on the forum last week. The end of this month marks my ninth year in Textpattern land (hence the ninth year since I started using PHP), and I still love being part of the community, inching things forward.

As always, I’m contactable for anything Txp-related and will help out wherever I can. And if anyone wishes to get their hands dirty in code, marketing, docs, whatever, feel free to raise a digital paw.

Thanks again and happy 2015.
