[textile] 'enter' inside table
hi
‘enter’ should start a new line inside a table, correct? but it doesn’t every time :( even worse, it looses the whole text following for ‘enter’ hit! why?
those times i manualy insert <br /> element.

if i test my table code in http://txstyle.org/ , ‘enter’ working fine.
inserting it back to my textile – ‘enter’ again not working.

Hi Gallex – I see what you mean now.
Could you use Textile’s rowspan equivalent (forward slash then a number) to get around the problem. Also, your <br /> should ideally be ==<br />== so they’re escaped from Textile processing.

A reason might be the Textile version txstyle.org is running:
PHP Textile v3.5.5
… while TXP 4.5.7 is delivered with Textile 2.4.3. AFAIR that’s going to change with TXP v4.6.
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

A line break (not <br>) will stop the table rendering, at least it did when I tested it here. So, line break is not good. Instead of <br>, you start a new <tr> for each line, and then use rowspan for the data in other columns. I haven’t taken into account any styling or CSS, so this might be not a great solution.
