æ, ø and å
Hi.
If I search for a word containing the letters æ, ø or å, nothing shows up. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Check your TXP diagnostics… are you by any chance still using latin1 tables? If so, switch to utf8 using my rvm_latin1_to_utf8 plugin

I have found the problem.
The problem was the plugin hak_tinymce.

Did you have to deactivate it, change a line of its code or learn another way of interacting with it? That’d be interesting to know, there are several languages with accents and umlauts, mine included.

I uninstalled it a while ago. I just finished editing all my articles, to get rid of character entities such as ø , æ and å created by the plugin. Thats why, there were no results showing, when I searched for words containing æ, ø and å.

Ah, that’s the problem. If you want to avoid further post processing of articles you could try (not yet tested!) to edit tiny_mce’s lookup tables (there are three, in charmap.js, in tiny_mce.js and in tiny_mce_src.js).
