Re: my first edition AD&D site

Currently working on adding in a Shaman tradeskill class I am calling Shogosh. It will be a combo of druid and illusionist.

Still deciding, off-line, how to handle skill ups in stone, glass, and pottery working.

I have a few pages of this work in progress on my site. Just look for the ‘Shogosh character class, in progress’ in the site navigation at the top of the page for the posts about this.

I guess you’ll have to comment here as I had a contact page, but I kept getting lots of spam.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

Instead of taking all those small maps and making one big map out of them, I decided to make a new southern hemisphere and redraw part/most of it.

Link to a deleted map deleted. Previous article leads to Southern Hemisphere map.

The Great Open is a large plain. The drawing is 25000 by 12500 miles. About 1200×659 pixels.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

I decided to use Fractal Terrains from Profantasy for some ideas on hemipshere/worlds. After I did about 30 ocean/land combinations, I came up with an idea I liked. Saved it out as a Campaign Cartographer 3 map, and edited it.

Deleted outdated map.

Instead of taking hundreds of 185×234 mile maps and adding them into a larger map, I decided to go this route.

In case anyone is wondering, the small maps are from my old 5mm hexagon hand drawn maps.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

a close up of the new Trillolara area along with a close up of the continent area near it. I’ve added a few Non-player characters from my old game to the site. I recently found a long list of them and will probably add them over the next few months. I’m working on several ideas for maps and characters that I’ll add as I have time. Might add more Legends and Lore of the game world as well.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

Due to various hiccups, mistyped urls in my site navigation, different map layout, etc. I am very slowly moving this site over to a new site: Crest of a Star

I’ll probably be done in 2015.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

I have taken out the old menu system, it was giving me problems. I have added the new CSS3 dropdown menu to Crest of a Star

I know it looks weird with the two color areas, but I’m tired and couldn’t find the css background color that affects the two current white areas.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

Added the white background for all of the site back in.

There are now 2 dungeons, and additional articles with links in the menus. Some leaders/rulers over the game centuries, etc. This is the the Crest of a Star site.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

Akhhh. I was copying and editing links from the old site, and accidently left in both urls in that one. Fixed now.

Thanks.

Re: my first edition AD&D site

The crestofastar site now has added navigation links at the country level.

So the blue drop down menus at the top of the site for main navigation, and each country will have some div links for just that country on that country’s pages. I’m using the txp forms page, so I only have to edit changes once.
