Re: Threaded comments: how do the others do it?
Any news, Stef? Or has the limited beta started and I was not invited? ;-)

You’ve not missed anything. I’ve been slacking on this one lately. I’ll try and fit some time in to get this in a releasable shape.

Really interested in this for an intranet project I’m working on. Any news? Need any volunteers to test?

No news I’m afraid. Still got the deletion bug to iron out. But that’s the only thing stopping it getting to beta so if you have a project in mind I might be persuaded to give this some attention.

What do you mean by “persuasion?” ;-)
We’re looking at ways to make our intranet to be a little more interesting/engaging/collaborative for our dispersed workforce.
We’ve been nervous about enabling comments in the past, the desire now is to be more open/transparent and encourage feedback. Having threaded comments would make discussion significantly easier to follow.
Don’t worry too much though, we can always go with regular comments and upgrade later?

Hi Stef,
Did anything come of this plugin?
If it works front side I think I’d prefer it to use a TXP comments system.
Disqus seems to load very slowly.
Could I get a copy, please?

No change since last post, unfortunately. Didn’t seem to be much call for it, so I left it on the shelf.
But if you have a project in mind then I could dust the plugin off and go see what I can do to get it running (after I’ve finished zem_contact_reborn, which is almost ready for testing).

Just to bump an interesting discussion of whom we’ve recently talked about into another thread.
