Salivating… Nicely done, I would only suggest to hide #gmap_div (empty anyway) in js-disabled browsers.

Yes, but appending it in js-enabled browsers would be even better:

Yes – we did the trip in 2013. But the preface is dated back to 2012 and 2013…
