yab_copy_to_new: Copy article content to a new one (upm_savenew)
This Textpattern plugin is a replacement for upm_savenew so you can copy the content of an article to a new one.
Download compiled and source: yab_copy_to_new_v0.2

Thank you very much. I installed the plugin and it works perfect, all is copied, also the contents of the custom fields.

Thank you. This is just what the doctor ordered :-) Works perfect.
If I had a free wish: Could you place the button away from the Safe Button? E.G. next to the New Article (“neu erstellen” in german) in the right top? I’m afraid to click the wrong one to often when I want to safe…

I solved that for myself by removing the class publish
from the button code, makes for a smaller gray button, at least in Hive.

Can do that.
The in the new version you can do some placing/styling configurations.
A new config function (first in plugin code) exists. There is a commented example. Simple comment the original config array and uncomment the example. Or create – more or less – your own button.
