Links to useful how-tos in the archives

Since the recent forum overhaul the ‘How-Tos and Examples’ forum doesn’t exist anymore, and its posts were moved to the Archives. Some of those how-tos however are still relevant and useful. Instead of moving these posts to yet another forum, let’s use this thread to collect the links.

Please don’t post entire how-tos here, as it would clutter the thread. If you know of a useful how-to topic buried in the archives or elsewhere, just post the linked title in a reply.

I think that those how-tos should go to txptips if they haven’t already. In this way all will be kept i one recourse site.

Re: Links to useful how-tos in the archives

What I’m afraid this thread will do is to scatter the information even more and make it harder to find the relevant bits of information.

Please could you, like Yiannis smartly points out, re-post these How-tos on TXP Tips instead?

Re: Links to useful how-tos in the archives

I’ve closed and moved this thread to Archives so that users don’t exhaust their energy browsing scattered threads. Information must be quick and easy to find under one roof, or and users will instead default asking.

These threads have the problem of becoming long and outdated, consuming a lot of time to read through. Will you check Google and TXP Tips after you have wasted 15 minutes reading through 5 page thread, or 8 hours following outdated guide found from here? No, you will not.
