This means the dependencies can be installed on the server?

Apparently. No rvm, though.

But we run no other Ruby app I am aware of so any Ruby dependencies are rather theoretical.

currently we are deleting through a monthly click of a button, all users who registered but not verified their email within a month and all verified users who – within a month – still have zero posts.

Er… I am deleting users who haven’t verified their account within three days, and those who have never posted and haven’t logged in in 90 days…

Count me in!:)

Er… again; trying to figure out that one…

It’s a pity to lose that one. Isn’t there a way to insert it on some place using a mysql query?

There are no plugins or even template partials in FluxBB, so no. What isn’t there, isn’t going to be there. Only customization we can have are template wrapper (custom footer and header), CSS and JavaScript.

We would have to change the forum software to something else (e.g. migrate to PunBB) to get any type of customization ability or pluggable extensions outside from limited presentation capabilities.

Re: Eventual forum upgrade plan

Did something happen to the old/current forum… links at the top of the page all show up below each other.

Re: Eventual forum upgrade plan

Someone probably just had edited some files directly on the production server, indication being that the modification timestamp for base.css seem to have changed… (ugh).

I’ve restored the CSS file from backup, fixed now.

Why did it break in the first place? Is the server compromised or is someone editing files on the server? If the latter, don’t. You shouldn’t be touching production files, ever.

Re: Eventual forum upgrade plan

I unintentionally glitched it when I was checking the current avatar size rules yesterday, I think. Anyway, they’ll be no reason to touch the live server once the new build process is place.

Re: Eventual forum upgrade plan

There is never reason to touch the files, especially for reasons like these. Stuff isn’t tested, tried or checked on the live server. Never.
