[howto] Is The W3C Box Model Wrong?
It’s been discussed elsewhere and whilst I do show you how to it’s more of an “I find this useful, maybe you will too”. I actually find myself supporting Microsoft on this one which feels very strange indeed. ;)

No it’s not wrong, it’s just different. The only time the W3C CSS box model falls down is when actual widths are declared, and to solve that we have the box-sizing
CSS rule.

That’s an excellent text Stuart. I’m also one of those who are not keen of Microsoft products but I also thought that that the w3 box model was not the most logical one and secretly wished for ie to win the particular battle.
