Donald Swain

Slightly weird question but I get these inquisitive moments.

What is significant about 22 July 2005 which is the date of old Donald’s comment? I was trying to remember but these days my memory can’t cope with yesterday let alone 2988 days ago and counting. Was it when we had our first “built-in” theme or maybe commenting system? I was using Textpattern before this and I can’t remember NOT having a commenting system. Come on all you old ‘uns out there. There must be something about that date.

Re: Donald Swain

Lol, Stef :)

Comments were already there in 2004, in the gamma series. 22 July 2005 was just a few days before the 1.0 RC4 release, so maybe that was when Donald Swain was first added? I only started to use comments much later, so in my memory he has always been there ;)

Edited to add: I just noticed we’re approaching Txp’s 10th birthday :)
