[mention] Textpattern in "Internet Magazin" (Germany)
In its September edition 9/2013, the German “Internet Magazin” features a four page article about Textpattern, as an alternative to Wordpress, with a less steep learning curve, the faster backend and no weekly security updates. Also, a section about migrating WP data to TXP as a must. Always space taking: the discussion of Textile as the main text editor. Left out: The pretzel dough flexibility of the combos “tags in tags” & “variable/if_variable”.
Four pages is a major article there, it’s positioned as the second one, immediately after the magazine’s “Special”. Yay!
(Unfortunately no online content to show off.)

Hi Uli, maybe the issue number and date will be of help to those who wish to buy it and can speak German.

This was just mentioning a mention, no recommendation :)
Anyone who has found this topic is far beyond the article’s level.

Hi Ulli,
maybe more mportant is the mentioning in ct, issue 14/2013, because of the higher print run and the reputation of this magazine. The recommended Textpattern explicitly as alternative to Wordpress. The whole article was an overview about webworking tools.
Have fun (with or without two Kölsch… ;-)

Hi bici,
no problem: you find it online here , but in German only and the mentioned article is only available behind a paywall. it is a very well respected IT-magazine for advanced users and professionals, kind of an institution. Print run is now around 300.000 copies, published every two weeks.

I’ve added date and issue, after all. My huff about the publishing company’s marketing, staff and online strategies shouldn’t influence the completeness of those specifications. There might be good reasons to have these here.
