I think I found what goes wrong. It seems to be a little bug.
Each article with a “à” can’t display the search_result_excerpt.
I tried to remove this letter from two articles and they are now working.
That’s maybe why another french had the same problem before… Is it possible to fix that?

Edit: it’s the first time I had a look to that and I saw that Textile doesn’t transform this kind of letter “é” to an html entity like é in my code. It shouldn’t?

Thx Colak but this part of my message is not the problem. The problem is the “à” and I can’t see any in your exemple.

Could it comes with the french language installed? I tried to switch to english but the problem is the same.

Edit: It could be that because I’ve just tried on a new fresh install and the problem is the same. I’ve just add a “à” to the article Welcome to your site! !!!

Alternatively it could be your server. I understand that you are currently experimenting on a localhost. Did you try it on an online server?
