[solved] form_submission_error on article save
Hi,
i’m using a datepicker script (javascript) on the write tab.
On article save (not post) txp4.5 will throw an alert window with the error message gTxt('form_submission_error')
.
Any change made to the article is saved, though.
Any idea of what is causing this behaviour ?

Same issue here, but I don’t seem to get a saved article, just the alert error. Using 4.5.4.
edit: Seems to be javascript related, turning JS off (and thus TinyMCE) lets me save the article.

Free riding my own answer from anywhere (where?): Have you updated hak_tinymce to the latest version?

I think so, I have 1.0.2.3. The issue still stands if toggling the editor off though (don’t know if that changes what scripts gets loaded or not, just FYI).

Well, hey! I turned “dzd_upload_image” off and that was it! :) No more JS error.

Re: [solved] form_submission_error on article save
[Please let me know if you’d prefer I start a new thread.]
I’m having the same problem: form_submission_error when I try to save an article.
I’m using the MLP pack for multi-lingual sites.
I have tried reloading the 4.5.5 Txp files and MLP files (mlp-4.5.2.20121204). No change.
I’m not running dzd_uplaod_image, but I do have these plugins running:
altum Email Obfuscator
chh_if_data
gbp_admin_library
hcg_templates
l10n
pap_contact_cleaner
rss_auto_excerpt
soo_toc
upm_datetime
wan_error_email
zem_contact_lang-mlp
zem_contact_reborn
I suppose I could deactivate them and see if anything changes.
Any other ideas?
UPDATE: When I turn off l10n, the problem goes away. Should I post this problem in the MLP area?

When you turn all plugins off but MLP and the issue is still there, but switching it off makes it go away: Yes.
(For eventual further tests wet_plugout (see my signature) can be of great help.)

Thanks, Uli. I’ll move my question there and try your plug-in!
