Email posting to Txp
Has anybody got this to work?
http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=21928
I want to be able to email jpg & mp3 files, and have the email attachments extracted and then posted. The above solution actually talks to the Txp database, however I’d be happy to simply have something that extracts the files and puts them in a directory on the server, ready to use (it doesn’t have to modify the sql database to work for my application).
I’m open to solutions…

Hi Keith,
don’t know what you mean here, but we’ve had a question of gfdesign on several spots (an English one for you to read and a Spanish one that was resolved) which comes pretty close to what I understand is what you might need.

The linked example won’t work – that is a contact form to upload.
I need to send photos & mp3 from a phone. Unfortunately, iphones won’t let you upload an mp3 via a form.
Email seems to be the solution. I’d like to be able to send email to a specific address, and have the attachments extracted from the email on the server.

Oh, of course. I didn’t take enough time to read the other article, so I wasn’t aware of the different subject matter.
