Recommended Upgrade Path 4.0.6 to 4.5.4

Hey folks,

I have an older site still running 4.0.6 that I’d like to bring up to date but am unsure if I should go directly from 4.0.6 to 4.5.4 or would you recommend an incremental upgrade to avoid problems?

I have copies of 4.0.7, 4.0.8, 4.2.0, 4.3.0, 4.4.0 and 4.4.1

I have a couple of other sites running 4.2.0 and 4.3.0 so if there is a process recommended can you comment if the same would apply for these sites as well.

make a backup and try a straight shot. revert if it doesn’t work.

Seemed to go ok.

I had some errors wanting the js folder back in the Textpattern folder so I copied it back but I’m assuming this is due to a plugin using it somewhere.

I wish my ExpressionEngine sites were as easy to update…
