display body in feeds seem not working

Hello Txp Dev,

When I change the Syndicate article excerpt only? preference, I see no change in feed. Atom or RSS.
If the body and except are used. The flow always presents except, never the body.
I’ve tested with Txp 4.5.4 in my site install and in a clean install.

Sorry if the bug has already been announced. But the forum search function does not seem to work anymore.

Could it be the browser cache?

Cannot reproduce.

NB: Some browsers like Firefox won’t display full feeds in their preview but just the summary elements. In that case you’d have to inspect the feed’s source and not the rendered preview to get the real feed contents.

Re: display body in feeds seem not working

Yes that’s it.

Firefox and Vienna have misled me

Firefox preview display only summary for atom and rss feeds
and Vienna display only summary for atom feed but display content for RSS feed.

I compared with the feed of smashing magazine that appears full in the browser and vienna. And the feed has not summary.

I think if you want to be sure that the reader or the browser displays the entire article. It is preferable that the flow has no summary or description …

I tried going in this direction
