Captcha for comments

Hi. I’m getting some spam, and need a captcha for comments.

I’ve tried using reCAPTCHA plugin, and it worked when I enabled the use for comments setting. But I got some formatting issues, basically the whole captcha thing was way off page. So when I tried using custom insert html tag it displayed captcha where I wanted, but the captcha didn’t work. ———— It would allow me to post comments even if I didn’t enter captcha.

Please help me find something that works or help me get this recaptcha plugin working

So we’d probably begin here, but this time with CSS positioning. Is there anything public to inspect?

how would I go about implementing everything myself, without automatic insertion?
