Explain to me txp:title no_window="1"

I read the help and the way I understand it no_window = 1 should shorten title so it doesn’t go to another line. For example.

no_window = 0
My veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy long title

no_window =1

My veeee………….y long title

But I see there is no effect whether I use 1 or 0 for no_window.

Please explain to me this option for txp:title tag.

Re: Explain to me txp:title no_window="1"

Doesn’t shorten, but prevents last word from wrapping to its own separate line by replacing the last normal space character with a non-breaking space. This makes the two last words wrap like they were part of one word, preventing widowed words.

The thing might also be that you continually have a misspelling: it’s not

no_window
but
no_widow

One less n.
