non-forum support

Hello,

I see that the forum are quite alive or, at least, I get regular answers to my questions.

Otoh, I felt a bit strange when was alone in #textpattern@Freenode and wonder if IRC support for Textpattern was always so poor?

Being old-school guy who prefers mailing lists (possibly subscribed to Gmane) and/or nntp over web forums, I wonder about mailing lists ‘cause it’s not possible to see archives, iow. is txp-dev just for core developers and whether txp-plugins can serve as kind of txp-user or this purpose is reserved just for (web) forums?

There was a flurry of activity on IRC a few years back but I must admit I forgot about it.

Not aware of that migration, but afaics, it was change of hosting provider or something.

Only this one is what we could follow.

Still, it would be nice to have txp-users

Re: non-forum support

I’ve been told Dean is hanging out in Freenode a lot these days, though not the Textpattern channel. Just thought I’d mention it.

How is that relevant? Dean walked away from Textpattern years ago.
