switching the Send Last Modified checkbox looks like it did solve the issue (not sure)…

Still I spotted another glitch:

I write an article [it-it], then save (raises this error: Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 select * from my_l10n_articles as l10n_articles where `ID`= in /home/mywebsite/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 113)
open MLP articles panel
clone article to English
click on title of just created article
write tab opens up with language: italiano selected (raises this error Warning: Table 'mydb.my_my_l10n_txp_en_us' doesn't exist delete from euro_euro_l10n_txp_en_us where `ID`='86' in /home/eurocafc/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_db.php on line 113)

Note that the query added twofold my_ to the table

I guess it’s pretty close

The warnings were in all recent MLP versions up until I started tinkering a few months ago when I squashed the bug(s) in the 4.5.x releases. Since I don’t support the old code base I can only suggest upgrading both Txp and MLP if that’s possible. But check all your other plugins are available in 4.5.x compatible versions first.

Upgraded to T4.5.4 + MLP4.5.x, works quite fine :)

Why I’m getting this error:
“Array to string conversion”
when I try to install or accesso to MLP tab?
I’m using Textpattern 4.5.4 and MLP 4.5.2

Difficult to answer without a bit more info. Like you diagnostics, maybe (or at least PHP/MySQL versions) and also any more error info (line numbers, stuff like that) from the error message.

I’m seeing a small error after upgrading a site to 4.5.4 and MLP 4.5.2. Only on the Write tab. On article save, the save button spins but there is no message on screen after save (using Classic). On the frontend, whatever change is made to an article does not display.

But a little odd, because the article itself seems to get saved – by choosing another article from recent articles and then going back to the original article, I can see the edit was saved. But no success message on screen nor output on the front end.

I used PHP 5.4.4. that generates error in string conversion.
Running wizard with PHP 5.4.4 something goes wrong.
With PHP 5.1.17 I’ve solved all problems.
Sorry for the limited info but I’m not a PHP expert :(

Update: MySQL version is 5.5.25

Re my post above – 4.5.4 and the latest MLP did not work for me, so I downgraded to 4.5.2. After a short shock when I couldn’t navigate past the Languages screen, I remembered to change the version number in the txp_prefs table and all was good again.

My question is very simple and maybe not applicable (I’m sorry but I’m not a programmer)…
Is there a way to let MLP change page URL based on current language?
Like this

http://www.site.ext/it/sezione?c=categoria
http://www.site.ext/en/section?c=category

Isn’t that more search engine friendly?

Hello,

I’m getting the same “Sorry, the form could not be submitted. Please try again later.” javascript alert when saving an article.
The article is updated on the admin side, doesn’t show on the public side.

Running TXP 4.5.4 with MLP 4.5.2

I do not get this error on my local MAMP setup.
I tried changing the remote server’s subdomain (to be absolutely sure it isn’t a browser cache thing – I think :) – but that did not work either).

When I disable MLP, updating an article works fine without the error.

My local environment (where everything works) is running PHP Version 5.3.6.
The remote, where I get the error, is running PHP Version 5.3.17

Can I interest anyone in a phpinfo() output? (Sorry, I’m to noob to really understand what’s in there).
I’d be happy to help where I can to track this down!

Hi,

Today I upgraded a MLP site from txp4.4.1 to txp4.5.4 and MLP-4.5.2.20121204 and I’m also seeing the ‘Sorry, the form could not be submitted. Please try again later.’ I’ll try the downgrading trick later today.

PHP: 5.3.19
MySQL: 5.5.28

edit: I can indeed confirm that a downgrade to 4.5.2, with a version correction in the txp_prefs database table, solves this issue!

One more little problem. When unchecking a language checkbox above the reditions list, nothing happens. All renditions are shown, also the unchecked.

Sorry about the strangeness on the Write panel. Can’t for the life of me fathom why it works fine on my installation and not others, but I’ll find some time (hopefully today or tomorrow) to do a fresh install of 4.5.4 + MLP and see if I can replicate any of the issues, then set phasers to BugSquash.
