Hello,
i deleted the links form “note” (i hope this is the correct name cause i don’t remember) and it would be nice if someone here could post its content so that i can restore it.
Thanks

Hi Simone, default forms are here, you will find a link form ‘noted’. Though I don’t think everything is up to date with the latest Txp version, because in 4.5.2 there is no link form ‘noted’.

:) Hi Els
ok then, at this point i think it would be pointless to restore it, as i am running 4.5.2.
Have a good day.

Simone If you updated an older site you can make sure that you don’t use a form with the plug-in smd_where_used.

Hello there,
Thanks for the advice, i’ve just installed it and found something interesting about “Stylesheets Plug-in [ A+P ]”: here i see listed two plugin wich are installed but disabled (i think this is just fine) but also two other plugin that i am actually using, and they are:
1. zem_contact_lang-mlp (which is part of MLP – The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack)
2. rah_sitemap
How comes?
Regarding “sections, pages and forms” there is just something i already know about, so no big deal.

smd_where_used isn’t foolproof, especially when it comes to plugins.
The plugin docs go into it in more detail, but it works by looking to see if you have used any tags that are defined inside a plugin. For admin-side only plugins, this usually means that functions aren’t referenced anywhere other than inside the plugin itself, therefore smd_where_used doesn’t see an external reference to it and considers it a possible “orphan”. The zem contact form is never called directly by name via a tag or from any other plugin code so it falls through the cracks and is listed as potentially unnecessary. That’s the plugin telling porkies, but notice it does say “possible orphans” :-)
Incidentally, that’s why smd_where_used doesn’t cull things for you automatically — it needs you to make the final decision based on your judgement (although the next version will make this process easier, with luck).
