Simple Slideshow viewer

Can anyone recommend a simple click-thru slide show viewer (no popup), much like what you seen on the Apple site, or on iOS ?

JQuery Cycle is very flexible and can do that kind of thing in conjunction with Textpattern’s image tags very easily. See this example for instance.

+1 for jQuery Cycle, although there are many jQuery carousels — you could check here for a fairly up-to-date comparison.

JQuery Cycle is great for complex sliders, but for what you say you want I can recommend this one

It’s really tiny so if you don’t need all the features of Cycle it’s worth a look.

Should somebody need a really small solution for a really small site: here’s Tiny Fader: No jQuery dependency, pure JS, 1.5 kb packed. Pause on hover is possible (see comments).
