adding a logo to Admin Side Theme
Is it possible to add a logo of our choosing to the default ADMIN theme – ( or any themes for that matter)?
I think it would be nice to be able to for many reasons including :
a) easily add a logo related to the website one is working on.
b) makes it more personal for a person editing the site.
c) and offers a visual clue when one has to work on simultaneous websites to know which one we are on.

smd_admin_themes is the key. It’s easier if you start with a theme that already has an image there, then create a new theme based on that theme.

My admin theme Khaki allows for this – at the moment it uses the site name but this can be switched to a logo quite easily.

My sandspaces admin theme can also easily be customized to use your company/site logo (instead of a text link to the site as it is now).
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

Re: adding a logo to Admin Side Theme
Many thanks for the suggestions. To me they are too complicated. I was simply wanting a way to add a logo to an area of the Classic default theme.
There s a very simple plug-in that accomplishers this in another CMS. I was hoping that TxP had a similar solution.
I would encourage that this be rolled into the core via a Preference option.

Edit textpattern.css :)
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Hmmm. I’ll have a think about this.
We already have a way of removing Textpattern branding in the Hive admin theme, add this in your config.php file:
define('hive_theme_hide_branding', true);
Maybe I can investigate similar ways of getting a logo in there with minimal CSS amends to the core file.
