Re: Feedback to: Textpattern 4.5.0 released
colak
philwareham, I’ve updated to PHP 5.3 from 5.2 and I’ve changed permission file of /textpattern/lib/txplib_html.php to 664 from 4 :-o
Website work fine!
Now, diagnostics page:
Lost files
****/textpattern/include/import/import_b2.php,
****/textpattern/update/_to_4.2.0.php
This is a problem?
Thanks!.

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern 4.5.0 released
I’m having a problem with Hak’s TinyMce plugin on 4.5
When I save an article it doesn’t save the article body output if I’m using the plugin… So when I go back to the article in question there body textarea is blank. Any ideas?
** EDIT / UPDATE **
On closer inspection it seems to not update when saving/updating the article for the second time – something to do with the ajax save perhaps?
** EDIT (AGAIN) **
If I press the save button twice it saves, if I only press it once it doesn’t :|

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern 4.5.0 released
Hello all. I’m very excited with the changes made to textpattern. I have one weird quirk showing in the admin side of my upgraded 4.5 install; when using the wonderfully fresh hive theme, I don’t have a logout button. I thought I was going nuts at first, but it’s not there. Somehow it’s not rendering for me. Diag is green, all checks pass. All other prepackaged themes display back-end as expected.
UPDATE ..because this was so odd, I went back and fiddled with the zoom settings after noticing that my mobile devices displayed the theme properly. It turns out the viewport setting on my desktop was the problem. I zoom in 150% and apparently that cuts off the logout button instead of scaling it into the viewport; there’s no indication it’s even there. The scroll bar reaches its end. So, if I zoom out a bit, all is well. It’s always the simple stuff…

dhmax88, that problem is known to hakjoon, the plugin author. Please follow the issue’s development on the tinymce topic, starting from here.
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Textpattern 4.5 looks great!
Is it possible to change the admin url from /textpattern to something else?

The easiest way to do this detailed in the multi sites READ.me file in the sites folder in your TXP installation.

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern 4.5.0 released
I installed the new Textpattern version 4.5 locally and find it very interesting. It seems to me a good work and an important step forward.
Thank you.
But, I can’t update my websites. All uses the two plugins bot_write_tab_customize and glz_custom_fields. And it seems, that the authors of both plug-ins has given up its development. Redbot did not answer my question and Gerhard seems to be very far away.
This is very unfortunate, because these plug-ins often are essential.

bot_file_upload does not work, either.

Re: Feedback to: Textpattern 4.5.0 released
Really excited by 4.5.0 (probably unreasonably so), but then my heart sank…
Really need bot_file_upload, bot_image_upload and glz_custom_fields to work before I can deploy 4.5.0 to client sites.
We need to make it easier for “normal” people to create/edit their content.
