diagnostics might be lying about folder permissions
Sorry I haven’t been around for a while folks.
Hi all of a sudden I can’t upload images to my site:
When I try i get this error:
Warning: tempnam() [function.tempnam]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/mnt/.../donegalimage.com/html/textpattern/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/nfs:/tmp:/usr/local:/etc/apache2/gs-bin) in /nfs/.../domains/donegalimage.com/html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1479

diagnostics report:
File directory path is not writable: /mnt/..../donegalimage.com/html/files
Temporary directory path is not writable: /mnt/.../donegalimage.com/html/textpattern/tmp
Both of those folders are writeable so not sure how to proceeds.
Thanks

The same x directory path is not writable message is given when the directory doesn’t exists or the path is incorrect. As you may notice your website’s installation path starts with /nfs
, but the file directory you have defined in the preferences starts with /mnt
. Changes are the files directory’s path is incorrect or out-dated due to server updates. You can update it in Textpattern’s Advanced Preferences.
