Clashing attributes for category and category_list

Default value for section (in txp:category) is the current section, default value for this_section is 0. I have seen the comment in taghandlers.php that it will be fixed in crockery, and I know how to work around it, but I find this behaviour very illogical:

<txp:category_list section="other-section">
     <txp:category link="1" />
</txp:category_list>

Links to the current section.
