How to use Textpattern for User Generated Content management?
Hello,
I’m going to work on a project where, there will be user accounts & real estate property listings posted by users.
Users need to have a way to post images, videos, location, property summary for every property they post.
I’m not sure if Textpattern can do this. Kindly tell me if Textpattern would be right CMS for this kind of project, also if its not, then suggest me some alternative CMS as well.
I’m already thinking about Drupal and Symfony framework for this project but I’m so not interested in working with Drupal or any framework.
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
right from the core no, but you can use plugins to achieve what you want.
Just from the top of my brain : mem_self_register for user account and other mem plugins for uploading images, creating articles and so on.
Check the forum and textpattern ressource site.

Hi
Like aleth said with mem_ plugins you achieve that, except for uploading image you an extra step for that (i can give you the code because i did it in another project) from front end, but if you can let users access to admin pan txp can handle all that stuff with minimum plugins (smd_write_tab_customize, smd_user_management), it depends on what you want to do?
I cant advise you about other CMS because i only use txp.
Cheers

Drupal is one of the best ways to go.
But I am pretty sure that there are specialized CMS or CMS-Modules out there which directly offer such features.
