my Starship textpattern sitem: now on my Traveller site

I’m presently using a plugin to show an alphabetical listing of categories that have articles. I’ll add a menu navigation soon.

(link no longer works)

Some of the maps are original, and some are based on designs form Profantasy, the creator of the mapping software I am using.

I have added a menu system to this site so it is easier to find things.

I’ll be receiving some png help from the Profantasy forums for tables, chairs, etc. I have vector symbols from the program add-ons, but they don’t fit look correct in futuristic situations.

I came up with some silly fake physics to ‘explain’ the speed capabilities of the starships mentioned on my site. Basically, i read ‘Hyperspace’ by Michio Kaku.

Re: my Starship textpattern sitem: now on my Traveller site

Thanks abby.

My starship drawing could take years. It started out as paper and pencil. At least with the software I can copy levels of the ship that are the same.

( I got an email a post had updated this subject, but I don’t see a post from abby here.)

Re: my Starship textpattern sitem: now on my Traveller site

A friend took my 2D drawing of the starship exterior and made it into a 3D object file. I imported it into Bryce 7, and made 2 versions of that 3D object. After I learn how to use Bryce 7 and DAZ 3D Studio to make my own items, I’ll be adding them to the site.

I do have some freebie obj files I’ll be adding when I next get the chance. Probably in March.

If anyone has a basic intro tutorial for Brce 7 and/or DAZ 3D Studio version 3.x, please let me know.

Thanks.

Re: my Starship textpattern sitem: now on my Traveller site

Revamped the site nav to reflect changes and updates. Added 3 block layout floor plans and a basic layout for deck 2. Deck 2 floor plans will consist of 25 blocks, 1056 feet by 1056 feet each for a one mile by one mile area. The mid-level decks are 5 miles across, so those will increase in witdth and length as I go downward.

Starship Wanderer

Just scroll down the web site to see the new block diagram floor layouts.
