IRC channel

Has the IRC channel (#textpattern on freenode) been abandoned?

Freenode staff are showing as founder, there’s no topic set, no ops around few others. It has been like this for a while now but I’ve been hoping it would come back.

The channel dropped completely silent several years ago. It never was impressively popular, topping at very mild activity at best. Few chats during the years, two or three support requests. There were two to three people at tops on the channel when I left from idling it somewhere around late 2010, if my memory serves right.

Back in the day, the xPattern IRC was livelier than the txp IRC. then I guess we all had more stuff to do.
