image error message - any ideas?

This error comes up every time I upload an image -

Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Filename cannot be empty in…………./textpattern/include/txp_image.php on line 617

- anyone know what it is?

It doesn’t seem to be causing any problems; images load, get displayed, are available for inserting into articles etc.

Then again – I suppose it could be causing problems I’m not aware of.

?

Re: image error message - any ideas?

Hi James you had the same error a few years ago. Could it be a problem with the ebl_upload plugin?

Re: image error message - any ideas?

Thanks. Well spotted, you remembered that better than me!

I can’t remember what happened before, but I’ve checked and I’ve got ebl_BatchUpload installed, but disabled.

I’m not bothered just seeing the error message come up if everything’s still working OK. But it gets me worried that some damage is being done, somewhere, that might for example need correcting in the future (which no doubt I won’t be capable of doing).

Let’s face it, as from the next txp version, a lot of the plugins will either will not work or they will be needing an update. As far as damage is concerned did you check your diagnostics and your database?

Re: image error message - any ideas?

I’m not sure what you mean by check the database?

Diagnostics says index.php has been modified, but I think it always has.

Apart from the error message everything seems fine.

If you have access to phpmyadmin, you can check your db if it needs any repairing. Alternatively, there is rss_admin_db_manager which does a similar job.

Diagnostics says index.php has been modified, but I think it always has.

It shouldn’t unless you changed something. I would back up the file and re-upload it to see if everything works ok

Apart from the error message everything seems fine.

maybe the above might sort out the error message too:)
