Can anyone verify that ebl_image_edit works in latest dev snapshot?

I just installed the latest available version of ebl_image_edit (2.0) on a site in development that’s running the latest dev snapshot of Textpattern 4.5, and it doesn’t work for me. I can access it’s setting’s tab under Extensions and I’ve verified that it’s assets load on the Edit Image screen, but it doesn’t display the script-generated image editor. I activated it on a clean install of Textpattern 4.4.1 stable, and it seems to work perfectly. I know that current dev snapshot is in flux and that when it’s released it might upset some plugins, but I was curious if this is expected behavior.
