Mary, CeBe... ?
Besides these two, who are the women that have ever developed (past or current) plugins? I’m drawing a blank beyond those two, but I feel like I’m missing somebody.

Looking at the plugin author support subforum, I’d say: hilaryaq.
Does it matter? How can you be sure I’m a guy? None of you have ever seen me ;)

Re: Mary, CeBe... ?
Thanks, ruud.
“Does it matter?” Depends on what context, but that takes it out of the realm of Textpattern, and I know that’s not what you’re suggesting. I’ve been reading a lot of articles by women in tech who think certain things do matter, depending on contexts, but exploring those contexts, etc, is not my interest here.
My question is benign and something that will be obvious at a later date.
Btw, ruud, drag doesn’t count. ;)

Re: Mary, CeBe... ?
I think you’ve covered the two most productive ones.
Judging by the image on her(?) website I’d say Aleth Gueguen/planeth/plh suffix prefix is one of the other TXP women, and will surely be a show stopper soon with her ajaxified, almost WYSIWYG frontend editing plugin plh_edit_in_place. Jane Ko/jayrope/aaa comes to mind, Hilary Quinn/pro, Nora Brown/nab. Not active, I’d guess, is Margaret Trauth/Egypt Urnash/peg.

Thanks, Uli.
“Jane is K.O.” (aka Jayrope) is a dudemeister, I’m pretty sure, but the others are a good reminder. Thanks.

Wow. Thanks Joe!
Glad I started this thread. An eye opener for a lot of people, I think.

LOL! Googled plh plugin and stumbled into this :) Go ladies! Yes, I code while tormenting boyf with celeb big brother.. this is how we roll :D
Have to say the plh_edit_in_place if I could only get it working (my own ineptitude surely) is fab, and that it works with cbe_frontauth is nice, I felt a bit hopeless for a while there watching unsupported plugins remain in plugin lists, undeveloped since 2004 etc, there’s activity on txp again and it’s really nice to see.. whether male or female we need plugin devs!

If they can write good code, I don’t care if the developer is male, female, human, monkey or fish! :)
