Mobile site version

I’de like to improve a client site with a mobile version.
My intent is create a m.site.com domain than redirect all device traffic to it.
Can I use the same database for m.site.com ?
What’s the best practice?

Can I use rah_external_output to generate all xml that I’ll need and edit them with smd_xml?
Or it’s better to use directly smd_query?

No. rah_external_output would be good but you might have problems with permlinks which would point to the main site.

Maybe this can be solved with rah_replace
