Uploading over 500 images in Textpattern
Hello,
I need to upload over 500 image in textpattern for one of my projects.
I’ve tried “jbx_multiple_image_upload_v0.4” plugin but it doesnt seem to work. The help given with the plugin just says activate it. I’ve done it and have also set preferences under the Extensions tab.
But still the image upload system looks just the same as it was and I am still not able to upload multiple images.
Also I wanted to know if there’s any way or trick using which I can use ftp for uploading images on server and then adding them to textpattern’s image index.
Anyone knows if anything like this can be done? Please help.
Thank you.

Re: Uploading over 500 images in Textpattern
Try with fpx_image_import. upload via FTP, then import via images tab, it is capable to asign image categories per folder, title per file name and other features if you want. I’m usinig it with textpattern 4.4.1 and works fine.

fpx is a great plug in and i use it a lot. It’s not been updated in some time so maybe just turn it off after your images are all up.
its a bad hen that wont scratch itself.
