One Page Website - How to post articles on home page ?

Greetings,
I am making a one page website and need to post article on the home page.
before this project I’ve done a similar thing but putting home page as www.example.com/home/
by leaving front page as intro page. It was okay for that project but right now I cant do that.
And I cant always use the above trick. So is there any plugin or any way I can directly post all articles on home page?

Can’t you just use article_custom ? You can post any article on home page with that txp tag

txp:article is sufficient for that purpose! when you installed textpattern the default template show you a home page with articles on it! even if the articles are for a section there are pulled into home page (the only condition is that in section admin page you check the “on home page” checkbox for that section)

Thanks everyone for quick reply.
What I confused about is, if I’ve to show whole portfolio this way?
I mean there’s gonna be whole projects section to show off projects with their own galleries.

How to pull that?
Any ideas? I really need to know.
Textpattern is the only CMS I ever loved so much cause I am more of a designer than developer and textpattern is awesome.
So I need to do it with textpattern only.

hi vineoardo,

a typical txp structure consists of sections PLUS a start (aka “home”) page. it’s up to you to choose, which articles from which section ALSO show on this start page (you choose this under presentation > sections). if you want articles to be shown only on the start page, make a section, call it “home” or whatever you want, check the option “send articles to start page” and hide the section “home or whatever” from your navigation menu in order not to produce duplicate content. hope that helps.

since I am really a noob in Textpattern, can you please tell me where do I find “Send articles to start page” option?

Is it the one we find under section tab?

I really like the trick you told me, seems pretty doable! :)

I have installed the english version in order to indicated you because I use to run the admin in spanish :-D
