Christmas fund for TXP Developers 2011

Announcing a fund raising effort to thank and reward the Textpattern Developers team for all their efforts and hard work on Textpattern in the past year.

Last year we raised 930 Euros for the 4 Textpattern Developers, and I hope we will be able to match this effort in 2012.

How it works:

  1. To donate, please visit the TXP Tips Christmas gift blog post and pay using the PayPal button
  2. We collect donations until December 31st
  3. I’ll update this post every few days regarding how much we have collected and the donors’ names
  4. On January 1st the total amount collected will be split into four and sent directly to the Developer’s PayPal accounts

Thanks in advance to the community!

Total raised: US$1600 – after PayPal fees the total was US$1525.61, which comes to US$381 for each developer!

Let’s keep it up ;-) If same pace continues, we will have 5 figure numbers at the end of the month (presented figure not accountable).

Aguawebs – sudonym – owner = Tye

bumping – there must be other txp users who find the work of the Textpattern Developer team worth a minimum $5 donation :)

Yes!! More please, and re-tweet, Facebook, Google+, whatever – spread the word.

Forgot to mention in the initial post that if you make a contribution under your real name but wish to be recognized under your forum name (or something else), just let me know and I’ll make changes to the list.

Yeah, show the love, txpeeps! Anything you can spare to keep the wheels on this latest batch of overachieving devs greased is money well spent. Does bloke still need to replace a precambrian laptop?
