Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_QuickNote

Thanks, Eric, for releasing this. I can see this as a useful tool for coordinating and agreeing among work groups and if a situation arises where I can usefully implement this, I’ll definitely donate.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_QuickNote

Could this plugin send alert to txp admin users notifying them of the message?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_QuickNote

Could be, but it never met it’s ransom so further development may or may not happen.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_QuickNote

I just discovered this awesome plugin. It would be eminently useful for me so I will be chipping in very soon.

Anyone still interested in this plugin? I might update it if it is at all wanted.

Yup!
I’ve not yet installed it for a team, only tested it between me and myself. Thus I can’t say really much where it can be improved. I just remarked that a multi-select list of receivers (now: checkboxes) might be better if you’re cooperating with a big staff. And I’d appreciate if the Messaging tab opened into the Received Messages section, especially when there are new messages.

Thanks, Eric!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_QuickNote

Even though the ransom was never met, I’m going to be releasing this shortly. I dug it out of my development archives and am dusting it off to work with the most recent version of TXP.

A couple of changes I’ll be making:
  1. New Mail Notification on any TXP page.
  2. Multiselect the intended recipient(s)
  3. Email Notification option

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_QuickNote

This has been placed on github @ https://github.com/elimegrover/EBL-Quicknote

I will still be working on it intermittently, but only just. I would like to see this progress as I thought it was a rather nifty concept. It would be nice if someone added some sort of push notification to let users know when a new message has arrived.
