The half finished version should still be accessible via the link above. The completed, bug-free version is stymied by a lack of double-click-to-crop-goodness progress, and a severe deficit in time.

Would the as-is version work faulty if you’d simply remove the double click function for those of us waiting for correct pixel values? I’d be really, really happy to have any pre-version that doesn’t distort/blur the images because of wrong DB values.

Thumbnail blurriness is generally going to be an issue with GD on the server.

Also, if you think your thumbnail is egregiously bad, post a version of it so I can look at it.

Ah, okay. Any info on what parameters I might need to look at and tweak. Admittedly most of the jpgs are already web optimized to about 80% lossy. I can see about outputting a higher resolution but that would not be a total solution since it would make my stuff load slower than I would want for a professional-geared site.

The only thing I’m dreaming of at the moment is that ebl_image_edit reliably enters correct pixel measures into the database. Can’t let clients do DB editing. I’ve described the circumstances some weeks ago here, below the third quotation.

So, a year down, and an entire summer to code. I’ll be putting up a fixed version with the latest browser tweaks shortly. I’ve been redoing my page over the past couple of days.

Good news: EBL Image Edit will continue.

Bad News: With the burgeoning upswing in HTML 5 compatibility, ebl-upload will be killed off. There isn’t any real need for a flash based solution any longer. Accordingly, I’ll rewrite ebl_upload to leverage the multi-upload capability of HTML 5, and, it will be OSS.

Previously I asked you for a feature of using “FotoFlexer” as advanced editing, but now there are nice HTML5 editors out there that may be better to use such as aviary and CloudCanvas
(personally I probably never gonna use it, but clients may)
