Images tag and sorting

I would like to know if there would be possibility to have sorting disabled with <txp:images/> tag.

I use bot_image_upload plugin and would need the images be loaded in the orded that the plugin places them in article_image field.

Or perhaps any other way to achieve this? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Images tag and sorting

Hi Teemu

if you want to view images in order they are uploaded you can use sort=“id asc”

Cheers

Two ways I’ve bookmarked:

Rabah, remember?
Teemu, the first example is the quote Dragondz did, it’s about the second code snippet.

And a second possibility posted by Adi with two links maybe worth following.

Re: Images tag and sorting

Yes Uli i forgot that one ;)

but i think that a simple (id, asc) should work here because the images are uploaded and automatically added by bot_image_upload

N… aaa. Not of necessity. You can mass upload and then use bot_image_upload to add images to the image field, or, add images afterwards with it.

But somehow I, too, felt like my answer wasn’t really needed, and then teemu didn’t even choose one of our solutions but preferred the links Adi had provided. We never know who needs what here.
Also, my intention isn’t saying “my solution is better than yours”, or “you’ve missed something”, or the like. From the access counts I can tell that the forum is used by many people reading our entries weeks and months after we’ve written them, even later. And the topic is named perfectly in order to be found by people with exactly this problem, a missing feature that isn’t even documented due to its SQL origin.

Ehm…
Sorry to be late here. Just to say that I mentioned how to do it in the plugins page on my site (see under the paragraph “A little tip”).
Of course I forgot to include it in the plugins help. Doh!
